Peer Review Process

Ecolawria: Journal of Law, Economic and Sharia applies a rigorous and objective peer review process to ensure the scientific quality of each published article. The process follows a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.

Peer Review Stages:

  1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the journal management system. Manuscripts are checked for completeness and suitability with the journal’s focus.

  2. Initial Screening by Editor
The editor performs an initial assessment of originality, novelty, and suitability. Manuscripts failing these criteria are rejected without further review.

  3. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers in the relevant fields.

  4. Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s substance, methodology, relevance, and clarity. Recommendations include: accept without revision, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.

  5. Author Revision
Authors revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the given timeframe.

  6. Re-evaluation
Revisions are re-assessed by the editor and/or reviewers.

  7. Final Decision
The editor makes the final decision and notifies the authors.

  8. Publication
Accepted articles are published according to the journal schedule (February, May, August, November).
