Peer Review Process
Ecolawria: Journal of Law, Economic and Sharia applies a rigorous and objective peer review process to ensure the scientific quality of each published article. The process follows a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.
Peer Review Stages:
-
Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the journal management system. Manuscripts are checked for completeness and suitability with the journal’s focus. -
Initial Screening by Editor
The editor performs an initial assessment of originality, novelty, and suitability. Manuscripts failing these criteria are rejected without further review. -
Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers in the relevant fields. -
Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s substance, methodology, relevance, and clarity. Recommendations include: accept without revision, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject. -
Author Revision
Authors revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the given timeframe. -
Re-evaluation
Revisions are re-assessed by the editor and/or reviewers. -
Final Decision
The editor makes the final decision and notifies the authors. -
Publication
Accepted articles are published according to the journal schedule (February, May, August, November).
Notes:
